Ethical considerations for authors

1. Authors shouldn't use any fabricated data including raw or processed in their works.

2. Scientific honesty should be observed by all authors. Any use of materials whether published or not, should be mentioned with their original source.

3. There shouldn't be any tribal, cultural, national, gender, identity, age, language, or medical discrimination in the works.

Works including the above mentioned items, will be rejected during the first steps of confirmation.

4. The Agreement of all members of research population should be obtained by the authors. In addition, private rights of research participants and their identity should be taken into consideration by the authors.

5. Plagiarism cases

Islamic Azad University ( IAUGBP), Garmsar Branch Publication follows the rules and instructions of COPE.

In this regard, all journals of Garmsar branch will follow the definition of plagiarism which is published by the American psychology association (APA) Sixth edition.

Any use of ideas, words , or the whole work without mentioning their original source, or any use of them as the author's own idea or product which is created by other authors.

As a general term, plagiarism may include different definitions.

-Word for Word Copying

Whether as a whole or partially, without using correct citation marks or mentioning the original source.

-Superficial or inadequate paraphrase

Using the idea from the original source and changing the wording structure in a way that the writing style of the original author is noticeable.

-Pictorial plagiarism

Using diagram, pictures, tables, as a whole or partially without mentioning the original source.

- Quoting without mentioning the original source.

Using ideas from the original source and producing materials with the author's writing style without applying the principles of citation.

It should be mentioned that Garmsar branch publication will consider any work without the correct citation of original source as a case of plagiarism.

These cases would include the author's  published or unpublished works, published or unpublished theses, the speeches, the author's own works, PowerPoint files, educational pictorial materials, and the articles from scientific journals, magazines, and newspapers, etc.

 

Garmsar branch publication will study and review all authors' works carefully and will react formally to all cases of plagiarism during any stage of confirmation.

On noticing any case of plagiarism in newly presented articles, the journal editorial committee will decide on the case. In case, the plagiarism case is judged as a mistake, the author will be informed immediately to correct the cases.

In case , the cases of  plagiarism are judged as deliberate plagiarism, the author will be informed and added to Garmsar branch publication black list.

Being in  Garmsar branch publication black list will bring consequences similar to other scientific publications , so the future works of these authors will not be published in these journals. Moreover, the authors whose works are decided as mere plagiarism, will be banned from sending their works to Garmsar branch publication for five years.

In rare conditions, if the published work is identified as plagiarism, the work will be removed immediately from Garmsar branch publication and the case will be publicized formally through GBP publication website.

These soft wares use the database from throughout the world, and  to confirm the validity and originality of the presented works, they will be reviewed and analyzed through various ways and through using large amount of classified data.
